Abstract :
High voltage storage capacitor is one of the key components in pulse power system. Partial discharge took the main role on leading insulation breakdown. According to the work process of storage capacitor, which is charge under DC and discharge with large impulse, DCPD measurement was considered an optimal measurement way. Based on the mechanism of PD under DC condition, the analysis system comprised traditional parameters and ¿t. DCPD measurement was proceeded in transition section and flat section separately. Through the testing on three classical defects capacitor models, results indicated that the PD measurement on each section can both be available to describe the difference among defects.
