Abstract
We report on the development of a novel dynamic acceptance test approach, which checks the control system and reacts to controller demand changes as it operates. A bound is calculated online in run time and is placed on the magnitude of the controller output signals in the time domain. The critical control theory on which the test was based is extended and reinterpreted. Theory and engineering knowledge enables the bound to be quantified to adopt them to the control requirement in a dynamic way
