Abstract
We observed high-power terahertz (THz) radiation from a metal foil target excited by terawatt laser pulses. The radiated terahertz pulse spectrum obtained by a Martin-Puplett interferometer was distributed from 0.1 to 0.75 THz. We found that radiation power was significantly increased as the excitation laser power increased. A power-law correlation with an exponent of 2 - 4 was estimated using a curve fitting.
