Abstract
Nowadays, the energy industry diverts attention from new energy development to both development and management. Energy evaluation is a basic function of management projects such as smart grid or smart home, it provide useful information for the decision and control units, like the eyes of management projects. NILM and IPv6 are two solutions which come from different ideas, they are the typical solution of automatic setup and manual setup separately. The application details will be discussed in the this paper and the trail result of NILM system is also be shown. The contrast is from the viewpoint of economy, operational and technical target. Generally, NILM is a good transition system for energy evaluation before the standard of IPv6 unify and the remodel of appliance is widespread. It can fill up the blank for its financially viable and easily applicable.
