Abstract :
By analyzing the actual need of position´s monitoring and real-time location report of the logistics and transportation, this work proposes a dynamic capture strategy based on the real-time speed of the monitored vehicle, and real-time cumulative offset compression algorithm, to accommodate the vehicle terminal´s small memory, slow operation, and narrow network bandwidth. These algorithms not only reduce the amount of the space vector data, but also ensure the continuity of collecting points. By comparing with different algorithm´s performance in different tolerance threshold, the comparative experiments prove that cumulative offset compression algorithm reduces compression distortion compared with the other algorithms, with high compression rate and it supports real-time compression.
