Abstract
In this paper a wideband CDMA simulator is proposed. The uplink performance under multipath Rayleigh fading conditions is calculated by a simulator. The results indicate that the combination of various features like pilot symbol assisted (PSA)-channel estimator, RAKE finger, channel coding, antenna diversity, and transmit power control is effective in decreasing the required signal energy per information bit-to-interference (Eb/Io)
