Abstract :
The Self-Organization in WSN (Wireless Sensor Networks) is necessary because of the big number of nodes and the great variety and complexity of applications. The major concern in WSN Self-Organization is to maximize the networkpsilas Lifetime. In this paper we present a work where response time and Lifetime are the most important keys to take into account for better performance. We evaluate a proposed WSN architecture consisting of nodes grouped in cell arrays. Our test bench has 3 simplified scenarios for the Self-Organization task distributed in each array of cells. We simulate 1536 nodes grouped in 256 cells. In our scenarios, we reduce the energy consumption until a 150% compared to schemas with Self-organization but only independent nodes. The response time depends on the scenario but reducing also until a 50% compared the independent nodes.
