Abstract :
To research the shaft-rate electric fields´ distribution produced by ships´ shaft wheeling, based on Maxwell equations theory, this paper deduced the electric fields formulas produced by vertical time-harmonic current immersed in shallow sea. With numerical method, the distribution of the electric fields and the correlation between the electric fields and the seabed conductance were analyzed. The results showed that the seabed conductance influenced the field intensity obviously. The smaller the seabed conductance, the bigger the horizontal parts of the electric fields and the smaller the vertical part. In the end, the practicalities and validities of this paper were proved through contrasting the calculation results with the experimental data.
