Abstract
A target recognition method of multi-radar is proposed based on the kinematical information from multi-radar. The process of target recognition can be divided into three levels. First, air/sea target classification can be obtained based on the information from single radar including target height, velocity, acceleration, elevation rate and azimuth rate by using fuzzy synthetic evaluation. Then, type recognition of the air target classified from first level can be accomplished only by the target height information. Finally, the recognition results of multi-radar are obtained by the fusion of recognition results from single radar. The simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper is effective and can be facilitated to engineering.
