On the management of virtual enterprise´s inheritance between virtual manufacturing & service enterprises: Supporting “dynamic” product-service business ecosystems

The knowledge about a product and its value adding services is becoming as important as the physical product itself. This paper aims to address some knowledge management challenges to support the so-called “dynamic” product-service business ecosystems operating based on the creation, operation/evolution and dissolution of goal-oriented collaborative networks, such as Virtual Manufacturing and Service Enterprises, and their breeding environments.
