Research on Equipment Support Mobile Learning System

Mobile learning is a new learning mode and it can the necessary supply of education. This paper introduces the conception and character of mobile learning. It discusses the essentiality of mobile learning in equipment support. With the character of the army equipment maintenance unit and the technicians´ learning requirement, it constructs the equipment support mobile learning system architecture based on data resource tier, business logic tier, network tier and expression tier and describes the components and functions of every tier. It discusses two ways of mobile learning: PDA and portable PC. At last, it explains how to deploy the equipment support mobile learning system in the camp area or under field operations.
