Abstract :
The EMC law stems from European Union Directive 89/336/EEC. A feel for compliance with this can be obtained by reading Article 2.1, Article 4, Article 7.1 and Article 10.2. The source of legislation within the UK is in the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 1992. Two clauses in these are mentioned in particular: Clause 40 and Clause 88
