Abstract :
Programming skills is an essential tool in mastering most technology-related subjects particularly the engineering subjects. Though the nature of programming knowledge is logical and mathematical, it also involves sense of imagination when it comes to understanding. Therefore elements of creativity can be harnessed in the process of teaching and learning programming course. This paper addresses the implementation of creative teaching and learning for programming introductory subject taught to students of Electrical Engineering Diploma in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Terengganu, Malaysia. The implementation includes creativity aspects such as analogy, games and mnemonic.
