Abstract :
The traditional transactional workflow is conditioned by complex information environment (collaboration of various applications, long-running transaction), because it is designed for short transaction. Thus some kinds of exception handling method will be introduced into the WfMS to resolve the exception when the workflow is running. The compensation protocol in BPEL provides the ability for flexible control of the reversal. In this paper we analyze the difference between the transaction in WfMS, traditional transaction and advanced transaction, make research on the core conception and feature of the distributed transaction, besides, it elaborates on the analysis of the advanced transactions models and BPEL´s transaction mechanism with a specific example.
