  • Abstract
    We have used double-fused 1.54 /spl mu/m InGaAsP MQW vertical cavity lasers (VCLs) at room temperature to successfully transmit 155 Mbit/s signals over 1 km of multimode fibre. The VCL diameter ranged from 8 to 26 /spl mu/m.
