Abstract :
New type of dispersion flat compensation fiber (DFCF) to compensate dispersion slope of DSFs was designed with W-shaped profile. Fabricated DFCF could compensate the dispersion of non-zero DSF from -5 to 0 (ps/nm/km), and flatten the slope from 0.07 to 0.05 (ps/nm/sup 2//km).
