Abstract :
A longitudinal research aimed at identifying the eLearner´s needs for support showed the importance of self-management processes on-line and the difficulties they represent for the adult who does not have access to relevant support in a Web-based learning environment (WBLE). This paper presents the conceptual model of tasks, objects and resources that served as a guide to build a cluster of tools to support self-management online. The framework guiding this work at LICEF research center borrows from theory and practice of distance learning as well as findings from metacognitive studies.
