Inventory management is an important part of the operation management of enterprises, which is based on the amount of sales un-house, but the uncertainty of customer demands is the foremost problem perplexing managers. In the management of the enterprise´s production, the increasingly identified stock management is confronted with the puzzling question that the stock demand is unsteady. Taking advantage of the widely recognized gray calamity, this article established a gray calamity model of the stock demand, groping for the new thought of solving this puzzling question. The demonstrative result indicates that this method can precisely forecast the moment of the calamity of the stock demand.
