  • Abstract
By using the Field Programmable Analog Array (FPAA) IC with embedded switched capacitor, a circuit model is proposed. First, the model can simulate the changing process of the threshold for a biological neuron releasing an action potential after it received a stimulated or synaptic potential. Second, the input stimulated or synaptic potential signal is quantized by timing coding. Third, a sequence of action potential is created in the waveform generator circuit.
