Abstract
In this In this study, in order to develop low-temperature sintering ceramics for haptic piezoelectric actuator, Pb(Mg, W)O3-Pb(Ni, Nb)O3-Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 (abbreviated as PMW-PNN-PZT) ceramics were fabricated using Li2CO3 and CaCO3 as sintering aids and their dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated with the amount of BiFeO3 (abbreviated as BF) substitution. PMW-PNN-PZT composition ceramics could be sintered up to 920□ by adding sintering aids. As the amount of BF substitution was increased, the density, electromechanical coupling factor(kp), dielectric constant(εr) and piezoelectric constant(d33) showed the maximum value at each of sintering temperature. At the sintering temperature of 920□, the electromechanical coupling factor(kp), dielectric constant(sr) and piezoelectric constant(d33) of 0.75 mol% substitution BF specimen showed the optimum values of 0.661, 2401 and 597 pC/N, respectively for piezoelectric haptic actuator application.
