Abstract :
This paper analyses the characteristics of switchgear structures and designing knowledge and puts forward a method to describe the whole switchgear unit and role element. It gives the configuration regulations for role module and judgment rules for similarity of cases. This paper also establishes an assisted designing system using case-based reasoning (CBR) and configuration rules after analyzing the configuration design knowledge and the method to implement the configuration. This method is applied to an actual design case in the end.
