Abstract :
This paper describes a 70-GHz-band antenna and transceiver developed for millimeter-wave ad-hoc wireless access systems. The self-heterodyne transmission scheme is implemented in the transceiver to avoid degradation due to the phase noise of a transmitter oscillator. The receiver shows a minimum receiving power of -67 dBm defined at a CNR of 15 dB for a 30-MHz bandwidth.
