Abstract :
MAPLE (multimedia authoring and production learning environment) was used to investigate branching behavior in this study. It is a working experimental hypermedia prototype to learn the complex knowledge, Macromedia Director 6.5 MAPLE was created using Macromedia Director 6.5 and designed to direct students to learn how to use the M.M. Director authoring system by producing multimedia/hypermedia. Case level is where the main teaching/learning activities actually happened in MAPLE.
