Abstract :
In the post-Copenhagen world, the electric power sector must plan for a future where emissions of greenhouse gases are no longer costless. While a number of options are available, the transition to a low carbon future will not be easy or necessarily cheap. Moreover, focusing solely on the supply-side may be misguided and insufficient.
