Abstract :
The simple approach has been used to estimate the input currents of the new multipulse three-level rectifiers of three-phase orthogonal voltages systems. Nine the rectifier schemes have been covered with a simulation. The crest factor, the distortion factor and the total harmonic distortion of the input current for the twelve-, fifteen-, twenty-four-, thirty- and forty-eight-pulsed rectifiers has been computed in Simulink-SimPowerSystems transformerless models. The integral factors of harmonics have been evaluated as functions of the angle of overlap for the 12-pulsed rectifier with the series output connection of the rectifier bridges.
