  • Abstract
Bused on virtual prototyping technology and ADAMS/ATV software, the model of dynamic simulation of fire process of a self-propelled gun was established, and the Model was verified by the experimental data. Simulation test which chassis system effect on recoil characters was done based on the model. Through analysis, the conclusion was that: the maximum recoil distant was nearly the same when firing at 0 degree direction angle, 90 degree direction angle and gun body fixed. When firing at 0 degree direction angle, the recoil resistance force is lower than the gun body fixed and firing at 90 degree direction angle. The conclusion can be referenced by gun turret design and firing stability research.
