  • Abstract
In the paper, the HHT method is adopted to deal with the pulse signals. The pulse signals can be decomposed into a number of intrinsic mode function(IMF)components using the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) method, and then these components are transformed into Hilbert spectra of instantaneous frequency of signal by Hibert-Huang Transformation, and in other words, the time curve of amplitude and instantaneous frequency of signal can be obtained, and then the marginal spectra are gotten. The pluses of a healthy person and the other person of coronary heart disease are decomposed and their results are discussed. Conclusion shows the HHT method can offer a new theory to diagnose cardiovascular disease by pulse signals.
