Abstract
System-on-chip designs are challenging design-to-manufacturing integrated tool suites that were thought to be comprehensive. Emerging methodologies and continued complexity of new designs keep pushing electronic design automation tools and automatic test equipment platforms beyond past limitations. Greater integration of new tools and platforms are based in immerging industry standards. How these standards are beginning to be used to integrated tools and platforms into viable solutions is the focus of this paper.
