Abstract :
The robustness of the RZ-DQPSK modulation format towards fibre impairments, using six different transmitter set-ups, is investigated by simulations using 8x 40Gb/s WDM-systems with spectral efficiencies of 0.8 b/s/Hz over 400 km SSMF.
