Abstract
Smart test program set (TPS) is a research and development project implementing a key element of a network centric support concept. Network centric support utilizes information technology to provide key personnel with the network connectivity and processed information necessary to make decisions that accelerate support, increase quality and lower maintainability costs. This paper outlines the smart TPS high-level architecture as well as implementation and demonstration results based on the current navy implementation. The smart TPS toolset described is directly applicable to any military or commercial testing system, which employs multiple levels of maintenance.
