Abstract :
This paper presents a new approach to using neural networks in process control. In this approach the network is used to obtain a mapping of a process inputs to its outputs. Control parameters of a conventional controller such as a PI controller is extracted from this mapping. Simulation examples of a water bath temperature system and miniature industrial furnace system are shown.
