Abstract :
Aircraft engine testing requires the continuous evaluation of data collected on a series of sensor devices. The analysis is a comparison of two and sometimes three dimensional data. The data may also be nonlinear. The PASS/FAIL criteria is often a complex graph which requires the TPS engineer to analyze, interpret, and develop coefficient tables which then must be coded into the TPS. This paper explores the traditional method for the development of the coefficient data as well as an alternative method using Matlab which reduces development time significantly.
