Abstract :
This paper presents a test system of elevator model, in which ATmega128 Chip Microcontroller controller is used as the core control chip and the mode controlled by the Pulse Width Modulation technology. This system uses incremental optical encoder as speed detecting sensor, applies traditional PI digital controlling theories , and then produces PWM signal to drive the DC motor in order to adjusting the speed of motor. The hardware constitution, software design and operating principle of the system are also given. Besides, analyzing and exploring PWM speed adjusting mode, power drive circuit and PI regulator are the priority research points. The debugging results indicated that the control requirement of real-time performance, accuracy and reliability were all reached. Consequently, this supervising system is suited for practical application.
