  • Abstract
    10.7 Gb/s frequency shift keying (FSK) modulation format applying directly modulated DFB lasers is reported. This low cost FSK approach has been compared with OOK and DPSK format by simulations. The proposed FSK solution has been proven by transmission experiments.
