Abstract
The conception and trait of Semi-solid and IPMM are introduced. Based on the trait of semi-solid forming and IPMM, the key of application of intelligent processing and controlling technology in semi-solid forming is analyzed. Bring forward the researching direction in future of IPMM in semi-solid forming from the simulation and prediction, the intelligent control of the semi-solid processing, the intelligent sensor and controlling methods and so on.
