Abstract
Knowledge systems are those systems developed to facilitate collaboration, knowledge capture, storage, transfer and flow, knowledge use, as well as to foster creativity and innovation. This research track recognizes the evolving nature of work and society to being knowledge based. This year several new mini-tracks were proposed. We were very excited to have such broad interest. Papers presented in the knowledge systems track are far reaching in the subject matter in addition to their appeal to knowledge systems researchers and practitioners. Topics range from knowledge strategies use in indigenous societies to the use of social media to support knowledge initiatives in modern organizations.
