  • Abstract
    This paper focus on the application of integrated robot case packer in the secondary packaging line. The core component of the case packer is a new high speed pick-and-place parallel robot with three translational degrees of freedom. Case opening, packing, sealing and some other functions are integrated in the case packer. The scheme of control system and network configuration based on Simotion platform are proposed after analyzing the working procedure. According to the requirement, control software and HMI are developed with Simotion Scout and Wince. Pick-and-place path and motion parameters are optimized. Result shows that the control system is effective. And the case packer is successfully applied in Hangzhou WaHaha Group Co., Ltd. with a desired result.
