Abstract :
Asymptotic properties of linear quadratic regulators are exploited to aid in the design of static output feedback controllers, (an open problem in control engineering). Specifically, we offer a constructive proof to show that any controllable observable minimum-phase linear time-invariant dynamics with a non-zero high frequency gain can be stabilized using static output feedback.
