Abstract :
The force development mechanism, which is composed of two stages-(1) Ca2+ was bound to binding sites on troponin molecule and (2) myosin heads binding ATP in skeletal muscles, was investigated by applying stochastic Erlang loss system. As for (1), the affinities between Ca2+ and binding sites were estimated for each slow and fast muscle fibers, and as for (2), the frequency of myosin heads binding ATP (or ADP) was examined
