Abstract :
Holographic scanning laser acoustic microscopy which employs a quadrature detector has high spatially varying errors, because the real and imaginary components are detected by two sequential scans. A new technique for simultaneously detecting the real and imaginary components in a single scan which will remove the spatially varying errors is proposed. In addition, an estimation and correction algorithm for the remaining errors is presented
