Abstract :
The overall function of integrated diagnostic, prognostic and autonomic logistics systems depends on a consistent definition of anomalies, faults, failure modes and performance failures as process drivers. Within the context of a concurrent intra/extra-vehicular design process, these drivers plus concomitant data can be used as feed forward to autonomic logistics, as the basis for diagnostic knowledge feedback to the vehicle.
