Abstract :
Subsider is the major equipment to separate the liquid-solid of alumina production. By detecting the driving rotation body rake machine worm axial displacement, it can indirectly reflect the settlement of the rake slot machine load size. To the displacement of the collected signal, the signal of the intrinsic mode function (IMF) can be obtained by Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD). It can distinguish three states such as the normal rake machine load, overload, the fall phenomenon. The practical application and simulation results show that: EMD is an effective manner to extract the changing signal trend of rake machine load.
