Abstract :
A design of compact and simple three-frequency simultaneously matching transformer with two-section is proposed. Design equations and corresponding solution procedure are shown, based on lossless transmission-line circuit model and genetic algorithm technique. The performance of the return-loss bandwidth varying with transforming ratio is analyzed. Further, a transformer operating in 1 GHz, 3 GHz, and 5 GHz with two-section at different transforming ratio (0.6, 1.5 and 2), is designed and analyzed. The investigated results confirm that the designed transformer make the circuits size distinctly decreased.
