  • Abstract
    Web based CASS implementation plan (CIP) is a software management tool that is being modernized jointly by Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCAD LKE) and Naval Air Station Patuxent River (NAS PAX). Modernization and automation of this software tool increases program manager´s (PM) ability to suitably manage, track, and allocate automatic test equipment (ATE) with an added ability to identify quantities of operational test program set (OTPS) needed for acquisition. The methodology employed to achieve modernization of Web based CIP, facilitates access to output reports through PMA-260 Web page. By implementing innovative technology and open systems architecture design, PMA-260 is able to achieve a user-friendly Web-based software management tool that provides accurate information and timely reporting.
