Abstract :
Based on the new concept which is called the equivalent minimum acceptable carrier-to-interference ratio (EMACIR), a new method is proposed to analyze the capacity of the interference-limited cellular systems with MIMO (multiple input multiple output). Conveniently, the method can predict the outage capacity of the cellular system after deploying multiple antennas based on the parameters which are already known in the existing SISO (single input single output) system
