Abstract :
We measured propagation characteristics for inter-vehicle communication using a 76-GHz band. We also measured the received power and bit error rate of a 10-Mbps data transmission between moving vehicles. The properties are not significantly different from that of a 60-GHz band. Direct and reflected waves from the road surface are dominant in inter-vehicle communication systems that use millimeter waves
