Abstract :
The transformer ratio and capacitance in an equivalent circuit for an interdigital surface acoustic wave transducer are presented in general form. The relation between these parameters and the input admittance for one periodic section of the equivalent circuit is calculated. Using these calculated values and the admittance formula of H. Engan (1975), the parameters are finally determined as a function of metallization ratio, harmonic number, and material constants. The results are verified by experiments
