Abstract :
In this paper, a novel high gain hemispherical lens antenna based on the theory of geometrical optics is presented. Hemispherical dielectric lens antenna with ground plane is discussed. To achieve beam scanning operation, the proposed hemispherical dielectric lens antenna is feed by a microstrip slot antenna. Proposed antenna is simulated by finite integration technique. The highest gain is 24 dB at 10.6 GHz at X band, and the beam reflecting result can be used in multi-beam operation. The simulated results and analyses are presented
