Abstract
The photovoltaic characteristics of organic solar cells based on pentacene and C60 were studied in detail. By simulate the J-V curve of the fabricated device, photocurrent density Jph was extracted. A theoretical analysis using modified optical transfer matrix theory was carried out to obtain insight into light-absorbing and exciton-transporting properties in organic layers. Furthermore, the photovoltaic response was parameterized and modelled to analyze the energy loss rate in the device.
