Abstract :
A new blind equalization algorithm, the modified EVA (mEVA) algorithm is presented in this paper. The mEVA solves the phase rotation problem which is the main defect of the EVA and achieves improved convergence rate and anti-noise capability without increasing the computation complexity. Simulation results are given to compare the performance of the two algorithms and indicate the desirable properties of the mEVA.
